Servant of the Seasons reviewed!

Autumn cover
To my delight and surprise, a reader has reviewed the first installment of my new Chaser Series, "Servant of the Seasons."

Andrea gave my little post-apocalyptic sod-busting tale  and said:
"Please chain the author to their computer until the next three books of the series are finished. Very seldom do I immediately reread a book as soon as I finish it, but this book merited it. As with all of Lee Benoit’s characters these three tug at your heart strings, get you caught up with their lives and have you cheering for them. I am eager and anxious to learn what happens next to 'the boys'."

Thank you, Andrea!!  Consider me duly chained!

"Autumn" is available here and now from Torquere Press.  "Winter," "Spring," and "Summer" will follow in May, July, and September.

Thanks, Cassi!! I was a lovely surprise on a day I'm home from work in bed with a virus.

Chains would be much sexier....

Speaking of sexy - your new lappy is quite the handsome thing!

Hope you feel better soon, hon *hugs* (I have a lovely sty in my eye!)

Must be the week for it - I have conjunctivitis in my right eye. Ew!

Thanks, Alex! Looks like The Witch's Boy is getting great buzz - I can't wait to read it! Lee

Yay, thanks Lee :) I've sent it in to Rainbow Reviews, and I'm kind of keeping my fingers crossed that they might decide to send it to you :)

Ack! I have a verrrry late review to finish for them today, before I can request something new. I'll certainly try, though; I'd love to review TWB! (Folks do tend to snap up the good stuff within minutes, though ::pouts::)
4th-Apr-2008 02:33 pm (UTC)
You're probably the only one who would think of that as the good stuff though :)

Now I must go and check out yours!

Nonsense! I'll be floored if The Witch's Boy is still available when I turn in my current review.

I'd love to know what you think of "Autumn."

*g* What do you bet? I'll bet you an icon it is :)

I've downloaded Autumn and am recharging my palm pilot at the moment - it just remains to find some reading time :)

You owe me an icon, sister! Sadly, when I uploaded my most recent and long-overdue review for Rainbow, The Witch's Boy was claimed (though a number of other recent offerings were still available. What does that tell you, modest miss?

Thanks for downloading "Autumn;" I hope you enjoy it!

LOL! I'm sorry about that, but it is rather nice to know :) What kind of an icon would you like? Any suggestions?

Maybe something with a pint in it, to commemorate our endless interview? Look for new/final questions soon. Poor Alex, to get stuck with me during a winter full of long work hours and virus after virus...

How about this:

And don't worry about the delays - I'm forever being unhealthy myself so I know how it is. I don't envy you the working hours on top though!

Oh, that's awesome!! Thanks! I have high hopes for the weekend; the sun is even trying to shine! Be well, L.

Flying hug,
Lee
